Our Beginnings
In 2013, our passion for roasting coffee beans ignited right in our own backyard, in none other than a Weber barbeque grill. Little did we know that this humble beginning would evolve into something extraordinary. Back then, we roasted coffee solely for our personal enjoyment, but fate had other plans.
Our journey took an unexpected turn when we realized our local farmers' market lacked freshly roasted coffee. This revelation was a pivotal moment, sparking an idea to share our love for coffee with the world. Witnessing the same coffee void in neighboring markets, we felt compelled to fill it.
Within a year, Backyard Beans Coffee Co was born. What started as a backyard experiment soon blossomed into a thriving coffee roasting business. Today, we proudly boast a team of skilled coffee professionals and a state-of-the-art commercial space.

Meet the driving force behind Backyard Beans Coffee Co – Matthew and Laura Adams. As the founders, we've poured our hearts into every roast, ensuring that each cup of coffee embodies our unwavering commitment to quality and responsibility.
Our company's name, Backyard Beans Coffee Co, pays homage to our roots. It all began in our own backyard, where our love for coffee flourished. Our logo carries significance too. The initials of Laura L. Adams and Matt Adams cleverly spell "L.L.A.M.A.," and so our logo was born. There is much hard work and dedication that goes into creating not only superior coffee, but a sustainable business as well. In many ways, Backyard Beans is a labor of love.

Today, we proudly operate three state-of-the-art Loring Smart Roasters. With these cutting-edge machines, we roast our beans with precision and passion, ensuring that each batch embodies the rich flavors and aromas we're known for.
Cold Brew Mastery
In-house, we've developed a cutting-edge cold brew brewery. Here, we meticulously brew and produce gallons upon gallons of our signature cold coffees, available in both cans and kegs. It's the perfect refreshment for coffee lovers seeking something a bit cooler.
Thriving Coffee Shops
Our journey has expanded beyond our backyard. We now have two thriving coffee shops, nestled in the hearts of Landsdale and Ambler, PA. These cafes are more than just places to enjoy coffee; they're hubs of community and connection.
